Regional results from Milton Keynes

Milton Keynes was the venue as members from Alton Trampoline Club made the 2-hour journey to compete in the final regional qualifier of the season.

16 competitors from Alton took part at all of levels of ability. In the NDP 1 category, notable performances included Jess, who managed to fully complete two routines for the first time in a Regional competition to the delight of her family who were there to support her. Emmeline and Claire showed considerable improvement to post their best scores to date, both hitting the qualifying score for Regional Finals, with Claire just 0.3 off of a podium place. Scott showed calm and composure to win his group for the 2nd competition running, and Courtney produced a terrific performance to win her first competition!

Recovering after errors in their first routines, Federica and James won 1st and 2nd place trophies in TPD Category 2 and NDP 3 respectively.

In the NDP 4 category, Ethan and Chloe both showed some excellent skills, with Ethan winning 2nd place and Chloe just 0.3 behind 3rd place.

Finally, competing in two high-scoring groups seemed to inspire Hattie and Katherine, as they both improved on their scores from the previous competition, with Hattie taking away the 2nd place trophy.

Well done to all of the gymnasts, and thank you to the parents and the volunteers who traveled up to officiate, marshall, and coach, allowing our members to show their skills and take part in the competition.
